Incredible Photo From The ISS Captures “Space Angel”. What Do You See?

Amazing images captured from space are not that uncommon. Almost everywhere you turn when looking from the International Space Station (ISS) is intriguing, unusual, or stunning. But sometimes, you hear someone say, “Wow, er, what even is that?”

As the first female astronaut from the European Space Agency (ESA) and only the fourth woman in history to hold the position of commander of the International Space Station (ISS), Samantha Cristoforetti frequently provides images and fascinating information about life on board. She will take over as commander of the ISS on Wednesday.

On September 21, Cristoforetti posted two amazing images that, depending on who you ask, appear to depict either an ominous hole, “chemtrails,” or a huge swooping space angel. It also functions as a massive Rorschach inkblot test, as CNET noted.

Actually, what we’re seeing is the Soyuz spacecraft that arrived on Wednesday, September 21, and carried three new crew members to the International Space Station.
“We witnessed the launch of #Soyuz with breathtaking views! In a few hours, Sergey, Dmitry, and Frank will be knocking on our door. eager to welcome them to their new residence!” Cristoforetti sent out a tweet.
A few hours later, NASA astronaut Frank Rubio and Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Prokopyev and Dmitri Petelin did, in fact, dock, proving that space relations between the US and Russia remain amicable — at least for the time being.
On Wednesday, September 28, Cristoforetti will officially pass over the reins. The event will be televised live from the International Space Station (ISS) on ESA Web TV.
